People on the railways, friends flailing etc :)

Days are starting to get lighter and the temperature is on the rise and the sun is out, a good start to February with a trip around Suffolk, more to come from this very busy month.

A superb day at the ELR, with traction including 37418, 55022 & 55016 which ran double headed which was simply hellfire the noise from the two beasts was amazing. Also for the spoon goons D1501 was running. 40145 'East lancashire railway' provided hellfireness along with all the other bits of traction.

Pictures from a very cold also snowy December.

Bitterly cold morning, but I decided to brave it to see 37601 & 37059 working the anti-clockwise East suffolk RHTT, Ta to GT for the heads up.

Well here's some pictures from the 26th of November including the DRS sheds working the Shenfield and Clacton RHTT through Ipswich in bang on light. We pass through March and we see 66843 sitting on shed with GBRf. 60049 Thrashing away from Peterborough it sounded amazing, then in the evening Tornado working the return of the catherdrals express out of Peterborough.

Day started off with a stop at Cattawade to see 57003 & 57012 on the RHTT to Shenfield, we then headed over to Wivenhoe, but the RHTT was not due for another hour because it was doing the Upminster line, meaning we went over to Kelvedon and about 20 mins later the RHTT flew through, then headed over to Rivenhall to find a location but didnt have enough time to get a location before 60009 passed through heading to Marks Tey so thats why the shot is so poor, we then ended up at Motts lane and we saw 47712 working the light engine down to Shenfield.

A bike trip from Woolmer green down to Welwyn north stopping off at Welwyn tunnel and taking a few pictures there, then down at the station for the RHTT and lots of passing units

Went out this morning to see 1001 unit at Knebworth but the pictures were awful because there was no light and they were all blury, But anyways heres some pictures from a walk me and James went on today, includes a GC screaming past us at Harmer green.

Started off early with a trip from Derby road-Westerfield where I was hoping to see the East suffolk anti clockwise RHTT but it went clockwise, so then I went over to Ipswich and got some full sun shots, then I biked over to East suffolk Junction to see 37069 & 20301 working from Lowestoft-Ipswich-Stowmarket, the sun played ball at East suffolk junction and the shots came out better than I thought they would have.

Trip down to Ipswich to see the Sizewell flasks with 37608 & 37423, these are the only two pictures I feel are useable, because most of the others came out red.

Well this is what I had been saving up for a big trip to Peterborough, it wasnt a bad few days for traction with two different 92's turning up on the steel train in two different days. We also had the first run of Colas 47's running bang on time to tilbury with the train from West burton powerstation. Also Royal 67006 appears with a stock move, changing for a driver change at Peterborough, also we take short trips to Marholm and Fultham.

Well, what a crap day, had to abandon the plan of chasing the 37's on the east suffolk RHTT, so we turned to the back up plan of seeing 60051 so heres some shots from the Anglia rover.

Day off College so I decided to go get some shots in at Ipswich station because the sun was out, unfortunatly the sun went in as the 20's came then came back out after they had passed, sods law.
